Join our 4-week program to learn the fundamentals of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, including an in-depth exploration of all 72 postures of the Primary Series. Through guided instruction and mindful repetition, you will establish a meaningful routine, deepen your understanding of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, and experience growth in your personal practice.
Vinyasa is a meditative state attained through precise synchrony of breath and movement. This focused awareness is the catalyst for transformation of mind, body, and breath.
Through this program:
Learn how to correctly and safely adjust and assist 72 asanas of the Primary Series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga with focused attention on alignment, breath synchronization, and mindful touch. Proper adjustments help practitioners deepen their postures safely, improve form, and prevent injury.
Adjustments typically involve mindful and conscious physical support to help lengthen muscles, open joints, and maintain bandhas (energy locks) while respecting individual limits. Mastering adjustments requires a deep understanding of posture, anatomy, energetic engagements, and student feedback to offer personalized and effective assistance.
5 weekend-workshops (April 5, 12, 19, 26 & May 3)

Through this course, regular practitioners of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and yoga teachers can deepen their understanding of advanced postures and movements. You will learn the details of deep backbends, hip-openers, inversions, and twists. Understand the philosophy of Ashtanga Yoga and learn about Bandhas (energetic engagements) in-depth.
